How to choose the right carrier oil for cannabinoid oils

Cannabinoids dissolve unprocessed exclusively in fatty substances. We therefore recommend dissolving them in a suitable oil. The two classic and most widely used carrier oils are MCT (coconut oil-based) and hemp seed oil.

MCT (Coconut oil based)

MCT (Coconut oil based)

MCT oil is particularly convincing due to its strikingly neutral aroma. Chemically, MCT oil consists of medium-chain triglycerides. Due to their size, the medium-chain triglycerides can form ketones in the liver. Since MCT oil is thus processed particularly quickly by the liver, and does not have to take the path via the human intestine, the body and especially the brain is supplied directly with power. The most conventional is MCT oil, which is obtained from coconut oil.

Hempseed oil

Hempseed oil

Hemp seed oil is obtained from the seeds of the hemp plant. The method used for this is the gentle cold pressing. This is best suited because the liquid is pressed from the seeds at temperatures of 40° - 60°, and thus rich ingredients of hemp oil are not damaged by heat. Our hemp seed oil impresses with its mild, nutty aroma and is ideal as a carrier oil for cannabinoid oils. The oil is rich in essential fatty acids and is therefore also perfect for cooking.
