How to choose the right carrier oil for cannabinoid oils

Unprocessed cannabinoids only dissolve in fatty substances. We therefore recommend dissolving in a suitable oil. The two classic and most widely used carrier oils are MCT (based on coconut oil) and hemp seed oil.

MCT (based on coconut oil)

MCT (based on coconut oil)

MCT Oil convinces above all with its strikingly neutral aroma. It consists of medium-chain triglycerides, which, due to their size, can form ketones in the liver. The MCT oil is processed particularly quickly by the liver and does not have to go through the human intestine. Thus the body and especially the brain are directly supplied with power. MCT oil is most commonly extracted from coconut oil.

Hempseed oil

Hempseed oil

Hemp seed oil is obtained from the seeds of the hemp plant. The extraction method used for this is the gentle cold pressing. The liquid is pressed from the seeds at temperatures of 40° - 60°. This way, the rich ingredients of hemp seed oil are not damaged by heat. Our hemp seed oil has a mild, nutty aroma and is ideal as a carrier oil for cannabinoid oils. Rich in essential fatty acids, it is therefore also perfect for cooking.
