CBD, CBG, CBN and CBC: natural, synthetic or water soluble
Natural IsolatesNatural isolates are obtained from the hemp plant. For this purpose, the hemp biomass is extracted and a hemp extract is obtained. In a subsequent production step, known as winterization, lipids (fats) and plant waxes are removed from the hemp extract. The winterized oil is then distilled, which removes chlorophyll, terpenes and unwanted impurities. The final product is a 99% pure cannabinoid in crystalline form.
Synthetically produced isolatesSynthetic Canabinoid Isolates are an active pharmaceutical ingredient produced in the form of an ultra-pure crystalline powder that is chemically identical at the molecular level to natural plant canabinoids. Synthetic canabinoids are produced by chemical synthesis.
Libosomal (water-soluble) isolatesNatural or synthetic isolates are used as the basis for the production of "water-soluble" cannabinoids. Their molecules are chemically modified so that they become water-soluble. There are various patented processes for this.
