Cosmetics certification

Cosmetics certification

We analyse, certify and register cosmetics

On February 4, the European Union's (EU) Directorate General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs included cannabidiol (CBD), which is "derived from extract or tincture or resin of cannabis," as a legal cosmetic ingredient in its CosIng guidelines. This means that products for external use but also for use in the mouth and throat can be registered as cosmetics. This is because only substances intended to come into external contact with the human body (skin, nails, hair), teeth and oral mucous membranes are considered cosmetics. We have already carried out numerous cosmetic certifications and will be happy to help you fully certify the products.

Procedure of the certification

Within the framework of a cosmetic certification, all ingredients are tested, as well as various tests for stability and possible impurities are carried out on your product, and an expert opinion on marketability is issued by independent experts. After passing the safety assessment, your product will then be registered as a cosmetic.

Certification for OEM/private label products

We help you bring cosmetic certified products to the market. We have already certified some extracts, distillates and CBD oils as cosmetics, so you don't have to do any additional testing on our house products. This will not only save you time and money, but also uncertainty whether the product can be approved.
